Our Signature: The Black and White Ball

On November 7 over 250 ACAP members and their guests danced the night away at the American Embassy residence. Ambassador Michael and Fatima McKinley graciously hosted the always entertaining Black and White Ball, one of our “don't miss' events. The chilly evening was warmed up by Guibel's Orchestra and our hearts were warmed by our ability to donate some of the proceeds to local charities.

ACAP Toy Donation Party

The Social Benefits Committee, selected Casa Hogar Nuevo Amanecer as the beneficiary of our first Toy Donation/Party.

The orphanage, located in La Victoria presently cares for 12 boys and 27 girls. All the children received presents the boys each have their very own soccer ball now.

The best part, according to Connie Estrada and Marina Hirschfield, Board members who spearheaded the effort, was that it seemed more like a party for us. They served us panetone and chichi and presented us with a banner that says Muchas Gracias and has each child's hand print and their name. A great start for this project!
