Teachers Teaching Teachers (TTT)
Almost 900 teachers came to Peruano Británico and San Silvestre on Saturday 31st May for the TTT – Teachers Teaching Teachers, an event that happens every two years when the teachers of all the LAHC schools as well as the American school in Peru offer and attend workshops where ideas or concerns about curriculum and best practice are shared. Each teacher can attend three sessions with snack breaks in between for the informal chat that is always so productive amongst colleagues.

This year, the range of workshops was extraordinary: from “Tips for IB Extended Essay Supervision” to “Rubrics Made Fun”; from “Learning the Basic Rules of Rugby” to “Pasco and Vernier Data Logger Systems”; from “Bullying in our Schools” to “Smartboard Use in Music” – there was enough for everyone to choose three varied sessions of interest.

San Silvestre and Peruano Británico were delighted to host this event. It was a golden time for learning from each other and, once again, discovering the blessed reality that, not only do we all have similar concerns in our roles as educators but our several schools' staff are the best people to share their expertise and experience in an atmosphere of positive camaraderie.
