ACAP's 2008 annual general meeting was held on the 31st of January and was a smashing success. The meeting took place at Linda Hewitt's house, and she did a wonderful job organizing the food and seating arrangements. Believe me there was no shortage of drinks, tequeños and other bocaditos to go around! All of this was followed by a wonderful lasagna dinner.

Approximately 80 ACAP members were in attendance, and it was great to be able to put faces to some of the names that are associated with the organization. For all of you ACAP members who were unable to attend, please make the utmost effort to clear your schedules for future ACAP events like these. Everyone is welcome, and the more we are able to share each other's stories and backgrounds, the stronger our community becomes.

The ACAP elections were conducted quickly and efficiently, and the results are as follows:

ACAP would like to offer its sincerest thanks for the efforts of all outgoing board members, as well as our best wishes to those who have newly been elected. We're certain that 2008 will be another great year for ACAP!
