ACAP Christmas Party

Our Honourary President, Mme. Genevieve de Rivieres, and her husband Paul Brazeau were the hosts of this year's Christmas dinner at the Canadian ambassador's residence. More than seventy members and guests attended the dinner, chatting and mingling with old friends and new. The Association is very fortunate to have such a varied member base some of our members are newly arrived to Lima while others have been in Peru for longer than they can remember. This makes a very eclectic group and the conversations are always interesting. We sat down to dinner going on for ten o'clock, after cocktails and appetizers. The buffet was varied, traditional turkey and ham with plenty of vegetables, in all forms, to delight the almost and the real vegetarians amongst us. The first harvest of “peaches and cream” sweet corn was also served and, even though not a traditional Christmas offering, was enjoyed by the membership.
