Book presentation by Susan Mucha
The members who attending the ACAP-sponsored book presentation and cocktail at the Orson Welles Institute knew that they were in for a treat as soon as they met Susan Mucha, the author of the mystery novel Deadly Deception. Susan's bubbly character and keen sense of humour made for a very amusing presentation of her book. The question and answer period afterwards was equally entertaining. Susan graciously signed copies of her novel for the members who purchased them, adding sometimes outlandish dedications.
Susan's novel begins with a murder at the Masters Golf Tournament, moving quickly to Lima where it is discovered that past events were behind the crime. It is a very readable novel, grasping your attention and fast paced. For us who live in Lima, it is even more fun to read as you recognize the settings and references to local characters.
Signed editions of her book are available here in the ACAP office at $25 per copy. It would make an ideal Christmas present perhaps to family members who are interested in Lima but live elsewhere. Susan will also send copies to anywhere in North American from her Augusta Georgia home.
