ACAP Restaurant Night at Santa Lucía

The American Canadian Association Restaurant Night for August will be held at a great Italian restaurant called Santa Lucía in Miraflores. It is conveniently located at Atahualpa 195, Miraflores, just half a block off Pardo - between La Gloria and Norky's and across the street from the British pub.

The menu will include a pisco sour; an appetizer of carpaccio of beef, carpaccio of salmon and eggplant with parmesan; a main course including duck agnolotti and porcini mushroom risotto; a selection of deserts served family style; and coffee. The cost is S/. 60 for members and S/. 70 for non-members and, of course, feel free to bring your own wine. A full-bodied Italian red wine would be perfect!

The chef/owner of the restaurant is Roberto Revello, who will be happy to talk to us about his preparation of Italian food. He had a restaurant in Lima in the 80's before opening a place in the U.S. He is now back in Lima and the local restaurant scene is better because of it!

Santa Lucia is an "Editor's Choice" of the Silver Llama Dining Guide and one of the best Italian restaurants in Lima. The 2005 guide says that Santa Lucia has the "best pasta in Lima" in the editor's opinion and that is really a great compliment given all the other super restaurants that we have available to us.
