Members of the Canadian Alumni Association of Peru (APECAN) were out in force at the picnic this year.
APECAN was founded in July 2002 thanks to the sponsorship of the Canadian Embassy and the Peru-Canada Chamber of Commerce. Its purpose is to facilitate a forum for an exchange in the areas of education and culture between the two countries, fostering relations among its citizens based on affinities, common interests, the development of new business contacts and good will.
APECAN is open to all those who studied in Canada, including language programs and technical certifications, regardless of the length of their stay in Canada. If you are Peruvian or Canadian and reside in Peru, and have studied in Canada, you are invited to be part of APECAN.
