UPCOMING EVENT

The ACAP Restaurant Night in June promises to be a real winner. We'll return to visit our friend Alejandra Peralta at Como Agua Para Chocolate, the popular Mexican restaurant that is just a hop, skip and a bump away from the Camino Real Shopping Center.

The chef has offered us a range of his most popular dishes, including such Mexican delights as totopos with guacamole, meatballs in chipotle sauce, pollo borracho, congrio a la veracruzana, veggie burritos, lenguado Picasso, pancakes with flambéed fruit and, and if that were not enough, the wine is on the house. ¡Ay, que rico!

The restaurant is located at Pancho Fierro 108 in San Isidro, so mark your calendar for the evening of Thursday, June 16 and register with Linda or Andrea at the ACAP office: 222-6359 to reserve your place. The cost for the meal and wine is a very reasonable S/.50 for members and S/.60 for non-members. We will get started at around 7:30 p.m., so break out your finest sombrero and saddle up the ol' burro. Ayyayyay & ¡Viva México! ¡Viva Perú! ¡Viva ACAP!
