An all-time record of 96 persons, including no less than 38 newcomers, were on hand for ACAP's Newcomer's Cocktail, held at the delightful home of John and Nancy Caufield on Thursday March 10th.
The Caufields, ever the engaging and generous hosts, opened their home and served the crowd a delicious buffet that filled every appetite. And the barmen set up in the Caufield's beautiful garden were busy until late to assure that no thirst went unquenched. After ACAP President John Lakatos presented the new members, he also presented ACAP Newsletter Editor, Jim Rudolph, who thanked the Board for creating the opportunity for the contributers of the Newsletter to meet one another in such a delightful atmosphere.
The success of the evening was apparent as the guests stayed until nearly 11 o'clock. This lead more than one new member to comment that the American and Canadian Association can throw a great party!
