UPCOMING EVENT

Our friends at the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce have joined forces with your Association to organize this year's gala event, which will be held in the garden of the United States Ambassador's residence, taking full advantage of Lima's delicious early-fall climate.

The black tie fundraiser will be staged under a magical canopy, provided by Eric Conroy. Our ever-popular Silent Auction will also be held for those who wish to take advantage of the vacation packages, hotel and restaurant vouchers that will be offered.

Following a sumptuous filet dinner prepared by one of Lima's top caterers, Federico and Patricia Anavitarte, we can dance into the wee hours with Fallo Muñoz and his international orchestra. Fallo's orchestra is fast becoming the best in Lima and they unfailingly support the Association by giving us a special rate.

There is a $50 donation per member, $60 for non-members. All tickets are to be purchased from the Canada-Peru Chamber of Commerce, Calle Bolognesi 411, Miraflores - telephone 445-9697

The organizing committee is hard at work to make this evening an elegant affair to remember. We are looking for corporate sponsors amongst our membership as well as from the expatriate community. A table of ten - with all of the recognition and advertising - is $1,000. And please don't forget, gentlemen... black tie makes you look very handsome but a dark suit will do just as well. And ladies, please do not restrict your choice of gown to black or white. Why not get together with friends and reserve a table?
