What a jerk! Here I am, running around calling myself and my gringo friends expatriates for the last umpteen years, head high, even bragging about it at times, until I decided to look it up in the dictionary.

About a year ago a new face appeared in the ACAP office - just in time for the ACAP Annual Picnic, which is a huge job. But she jumped in with enthusiasm as part of the team that puts together the celebration of Canada Day and the United States Independence Day. The face was that of Kia Borda and if you haven't gotten to know her by now, you should come to the picnic or stop by the office and say hello.

Learning networks crisscross and turn in complicated ways over distances previously unthinkable, permitting hundreds of new possibilities for education in Peru.
