a new Thai restaurant on Caminos del Inca in Chacarilla,
was the scenario of a most delightful evening
for members and friends looking for something
new and delicious.

Host
Carlos Zegarra and his bilingual crew offered
us a behind-closed-doors exclusive for a most
enthusiastic group that delighted in the variety
of Thai dishes.

After
a most delightful and original cocktail called
Lemongrass Sour, (essence of lemon grass -- hierba
luisa -- blended with pisco), heaping plates of
arroz bankok, meegrob gungo, curried duck with
cherry tomatoes in coconut milk, spring rolls,
and chicken with basil.

also offered a series of tempting deserts including

The
June Restaurant Night is still a surprise due
to the Fourth of July Picnic on the 26th of the
month, but be on the lookout for the announcement
of another new and exciting meeting place to satisfy
the most demanding palate. -- Jim Plunkett
