Say “cheese”
 

The success of the ACAP Pizza Night, held at the “Antica Taberna” Pizzeria on Friday night, October 15th, surprised even the organizers who were delighted at the number - and the range - of guests who showed up to enjoy the food and wine. Mixed among the usual crowd of business folk, there was a good number of “new faces,” including a contingent of journalists - easily recognizable by the number of wine carafes on their table - and a good handful of teachers and church workers that included newcomers and old “Peru-hands” alike.

The festivities got under way at 9pm, hora inglesa, on the second floor of the rustic-looking San Isidro eatery, and by 9.30pm, there was standing room only on the wooden mezzanine that overlooked the busy bar below. The ACAP get-together wrapped up around midnight when the last of the guests drifted off in search of a nearby dance floor to burn off the delicious antipasti and pizza.

The Pizza Night was another part of the ACAP's drive to attract new members. If you know of folks who would benefit from ACAP membership, please let us know at the office, and we will contact them.

Pizza night brought the usual camaraderie of ACAP membership and a large number of new faces!
