ACAP's annual Independence Day and Canada Day Celebration - being held early this year so that the many Colegio Roosevelt families who leave Peru in July will be able to attend - promises to be one of the best ever!

Nosequien y los Nosecuantos

It will feature music by the ever-popular Nosequien y los Nosecuantos band, who will sing their new hit “Yo de Ti” and other tunes from their brand-new CD “Pisco Sour.” Also present will be lots of huge inflated toys for the little ones, games, and the tombola that offers a prize with every ticket. The Embassy grounds will also be filled with lots of picnic tables to sit and chat with friends and enjoy a cold beer and wide selection of food. And, of course, no one will want to miss the traditional fireworks display. Doors will open at 12 noon and close at 6:30 after the fireworks.

Entrance is S/.20 for adults, S/.15 for kids 6-11, and the little tykes are free! And remember: American and Canadian Association members enjoy a S/.5 discount on the entrance fee! Also don't forget that security requires pre-registration at least 24 hours before the picnic. Call the ACAP office (222-6359) to register your document numbers.
