ACAP BLACK & WHITE BALL 2011, COCKTAILS & DINNER & DANCE
Saturday, October 22, 8 pm, at the Residence of the U.S. Ambassador in Lima-Peru

We have the honor to announce the ACAP Annual Black & White Ball 2011, a great fundraiser event organized by the American Canadian Association of Peru (ACAP).

U.S. Ambassador Rose Likins has graciously offered the use of her residence for this event and we have contracted the Swissôtel to cater a SPECIAL DINNER.
There will be delectable APPETIZERS, DRINKS, and a GREAT-SOUNDING BAND that would make you DANCE all throughout the night. This evening also is known for its elegant dresses, glamour, and old fashioned fun, so, please join us, DRESSING-UP IN BLACK&WHITE (Optional), and wearing your dancing shoes as there will be GOOD MUSIC and plenty of dancing!

All through the evening you’ll have the opportunity to bid on wonderful SILENT AUCTION ITEMS that will be awarded throughout the evening, and you might even win two round trip airline tickets, just one of many great prizes. The fundraiser is for “La Alegría en el Señor” which is a school in Lima specialized in physically handicapped children, from the poorest areas of Lima. -TICKET PRICE: Suggested donation is $100 per person (If you purchase it before October 15, 2011 there will be a 15% discount off the original price).

(*)As background, "La Alegría en el Señor " school is located in La Molina, Lima-Perú, and has 113 children with 15 children on a waiting list. The center educates and rehabilitates children from 3 years, from the poorest areas of Lima. The cost for each student is approximately S/. 7, 000 per year which covers study materials, food, rehabilitation, transportation, and information technology. Although all the students have physical disabilities, they all have normal IQ's and can provide for themselves after receiving training.
